What is one of the biggest challenges you have experienced in the current business climate and how have you best managed through it?

It’s hard to hide from all the world’s uncertainty when running a construction business these days. And one of the things we’ve seen is our customers and business partners feel it too. We have found that staying positive and fluid with our attitudes and work scope has helped both our customers as well as our employees. Being ready and willing to provide services outside our normal scope helps all parties involved.

What business advice do you have for those aspiring to become a Chief Executive Officer of a successful company?

It has taken some hard lessons to realize that surrounding yourself with strong leadership is a much wiser choice than believing that you must have all the answers for your team. Build a team around you with trust, accountability and vison, no matter what level you are playing within your organization.
